This Chinese Crested dog breed cost $5.000 to pick one up. These dogs litter ranges from one to nine puppies, but often - 3-5. The Chinese dog can live up to 11-14 years, which explains health genetics. These dogs height are about 23 to 33 cm, and the weight is between 3 and 4.5 kg.
Most Chinese Crested are over the 6-11 pounds as noted here. AKC, American Kennel Club, does not measure weight but height which is 11" - 13" tall. Generally, Chinese Cresteds are in the 9-15 pound range. Show breeders breed to the AKC standard so their Chinese Cresteds fall in the heavier weight range. Very small Chinese Crested will of course cost more as they are rare. Chinese Cresteds can range from a few hundred dollars to over 5,000 US dollars.
