This 1937 Cord 812 Supercharged convertible was worked on 3 years by Tom Mix. The Cord 812 had a total of only 196 pieces ever to be made for the road. The stand-out nose design on the front of the car, the leather side-skirt stirrups, and the red leather upholstery of the interiors all made the vehicle memorable, apart from the prominent yellow chassis. This car has a Lycoming V-8 engine, which could take the heavy roadster to 100 mph, still a rarity of that age. This car was sold in 2010 at a Bonham’s auction for $155,500.
