These carbon fiber instruments were designed by cellist Luis Leguía of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The line currently consists of a violin, viola, cello and double bass, all of which are fabricated by Matt Dunham, They claim they are a necessity in a wooden instrument, but they dampen the sound. The string length is 41.5 inch for the price of $12,939.
