This Top Gun IWC Miramar Chronograph watch is based on the 1986 movie, which showed the Tom Cruise as a part of the elite group of pilots, known as perhaps the best in the world in terms of fighter pilots, by capturing much of the essence and design relating to the movie. For those millions of fans of the Cruiser starter, this watch gives at least a select group the chance to relive the moments again, and strap it to their wrists. The watch is is house House in a 48mm wide Zinconium Oxide (ceramic) case, the watch has a anthracite dial, with a matte black finish to give it a classy, yet very earthy look. The numbering is displayed by the sides of the round dial, by beige colored Arabic numbers, the same color noticed on the multiple crafted hands of the watch. While the conventional hour minute and second hands exist, there lay 2 sub dials to display 1 hour divided into 10 minute intervals, apart from the power reserve on the lower side of the main dial. A small window on the side points out the date, where as the camouflaged red dial inset, is meant for navigation purposes; much like those the professional fighter pilots wear. Speaking of the technical prowess, there is a mentionable 168-hour power reserve which is courtesy the in-house caliber 89365 movement. Unlike the other timepieces which feature power reserves within 100 hours, this fighter watch shall last for far longer, as that might be real requirement of special watches of that kind.
